The afternoon feature class was rocking and rolling past the opening quarter in single file to newcomer Adkins Hanover and Forever Paradise set up for a two-hole ride with his three race win streak on the line before an accident approaching the half.
Racing Officials deemed the race a “no contest” as the horses approached the 3/4′s after Junebugs Baby managed to slip his leg through the wheel of Rash B Havior before coming to a halt in the stretch. No horses or drivers were injured in the incident. Customers received a complete refund.
