SUMMERSIDE, PE – Fresh off a career best performance, Middleton Terror will seek to trounce his Tuesday evening rivals at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway.
The Prince County Oval has 13-dashes hitting the track with a 6 P.M. start time.
Middleton Terror is favoured in the race 12 feature for a $3,500 pot with trainer David Dowling at the lines for owners Kingsley Walsh and Frank Balcom. The Stonebridge Terror five-year-old boasts 20 wins in his career but none of them faster than his May 25 victory at Red Shores Charlottetown where he stopped the clock in 1:53.2. He has post 5 on Tuesday.
Veteran pacer Coasttocoastshark has become a mainstay for the Wallace family of Alberton, as the 11-year-old son of Coastocoast Yankee kicked off his 2024 campaign with a third-place finish in the May 20 top class in Summerside. Jaycob Sweet will drive the gelding for trainer Jeff Wallace and owner Shirley Wallace from post 1.
Sauble Attack has post 2 with Ken Murphy aboard for trainer and co-owner Paul Biggar, who co-owns with Donald Callbeck. The Bettors Delight six-year-old was a five-time winner in 2023.
Melody Maker was one of the winningest horses of 2023 at Red Shores Summerside and will leave from post 3 on Tuesday evening with Adam Merner in the driver’s seat for owner-trainer Greg MacInnis of Hampshire.
Completing the field with post 4 is Mr Rielly from the Corey MacPherson stable. The Steelhead Hanover six-year-old has MacPherson driving for owners Darlene Compton and Jim Gorman after winning his qualifier in 1:57 flat on May 30 in Charlottetown.
