SUMMERSIDE, PE – Batterup Hanover will have rail control in the 56th edition of the Governor’s Plate, presented by Summerside Chrysler Dodge, after the official post-position draw Tuesday evening at Tuesday evening at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway.
The final race of Governor’s Plate Week will head to the gate on Saturday July 20 for a $35,000 purse with eight entries.
Paul Langille trains and drives post 1 starter Batterup Hanover. Defending champion and elimination winner Roll Em will be shouldered with post 8.
The other elimination winner Rollwithhottytoddy has post 4 on his quest to be the first Atlantic Sired horse to win the prestigious race in 17 years since Dunachton Gale was a winner in 2007.
