By Nicholas Oakes For Red Shores

SUMMERSIDE, PE – Bacononabiscuit will try to even the score in the Tuesday evening featured pace at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway. The Prince County Horsemen’s Club will also present Horseperson’s Day with prize draws for members, cooler presentations and treat bags for the kids.

The 14-dash Tuesday program will kick off at 6 P.M., at the Western oval.

The $3,300 top class will line up in race 13 of the program with the Adam Merner trained and driven Bacononabiscuit the favourite from post 2 for owners Brittany Watts and Cory Livingston. The son of Tobago Cays was a winner in 1:55.4 at Northside Downs in Nova Scotia last week but was set back to fourth for interference at the quarter pole.

Post 4 starter Brookdale Johnny (To be driven by Paul Langille) rides a pair of second place finishes into this race from the Phil Sizer barn.

Therealprincess (Mike Downey) has rail control after making her last start in the Atlantic Aged Pacing Mares final.

Post 5 belongs to Howmac Charmer (David Dowling) who finished second by a head his last start in this class.

The Backstretch Beat sides with Bacononabiscuit to get it all. “Bacononabiscuit was an open length winner at Northside Downs his last start but placed fourth for interference.
