SUMMERSIDE, PE – Howmac Charmer was never better than he was in the Tuesday evening feature at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway.
David Dowling was at the lines of the Kyle Williams trainee for the 1:54.4 lifetime best score for owner Doug Williams in the $3,300 featured pace. Brookdale Johnny (Driven by Paul Langille) was second with Sauble Attack (Ken Murphy) third.
Williams had another training score with Starshipsalicia (Langille) in 2:00.2 for the double.
The Race 5 Lester Chappell Memorial went to Midnight Mood (Myles Heffernan Sr.) in 2:00 for owner-trainer Allan Gregory of Charlottetown.
Gregory also scored with Dylan Sam (Ken Murphy) in 1:59.2.
The Fox Group Racing Events were won by Rusty Riley (Langille) in 2:00.2 and Outrageous Song (Gilles Barrieau) in 2:01.2.
Ken Murphy had a driving triple.
The program also had a non-wagering P.E.I. Matinee Racing Championship Final event won by Paints Pride and driver Keith MacDonnell.
