SUMMERSIDE, PE – Howmac Maximus was put on the point and opened up to win in the Tuesday evening feature at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway.
The $3,300 Tuesday feature saw Damian MacLellan place Howmac Maximus on the front from post 3 and pace through splits of 28.1, 58.2, 1:28.2 and 1:57.1 over Brookdale Johnny (Driven by Paul Langille) and Sauble Attack (Ken Murphy). Tammy Collings trains Howmac Maximus for owner Brett MacDonald of Ontario.
Jennifer Doyle tripled on the evening winning with First Glance (David Dowling) in 1:56.1, Woodmere Kennedie (MacLellan) in 1:57.2 and Write The Rules (Dowling) in 1:59.4.
MacLellan scored a driving triple as Ideal Jet won race 5 for the trainer-driver in a 1:58 trip.
Montrose Hope prevailed in the upset of the evening in a 2:04 mile for driver Brett Clow and trainer Deanna Clow at 36-1 odds.
