Driver Bio

Jason Hughes began his driving career on Prince Edward Island in 1993. Hughes had a banner season in 2023 with 180 wins and purse earnings of over $725,000.

Last year Hughes achieved a huge honor in being nominated for the prestigious O’Brien Award of Horsemanship. The O’Brien Awards were hosted on Prince Edward in 2024.

Also in 2023, Hughes guided P L Ozzy to victory in Trial Three of the Gold Cup & Saucer. Jason also reined Next In Line to Breeders Crown glory in the three year old pacing fillies division and was a winner with Tobins Chester in the two year old pacing colts division.
