Mike McGuigan began his driving career on Prince Edward Island in 2006. His first parimutuel win was at the Charlottetown Driving Park with Diesel Seelster.
McGuigan had a career high 48 wins in 2019 and last year set a personal best for earnings in one season totaling over $225,000 in purses.
In 2019 McGuigan and Gettin Messi won the Atlantic Breeders Crown for three year old trotters in 1:59.1. Mike has won numerous stake races across the Maritimes including the Frank and Beth Stanfield Memorial with R ES Shabla at Truro Raceway and recently set a CDP track record in the Maritime Breeders with Oceanview Nikki.
