CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – No Plan Intended will make his second start off the bench and will have post 1 to work from in the Sunday afternoon Preferred Pace at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
The 12-dash Sunday program starts off at 12:30 P.M.
The highly competitive $4,200 Preferred Pace takes to the track in race 11 with No Plan Intended drawing post 1 for Red Shores Charlottetown leading trainer Jennifer Doyle. David Dowling drives the Danny Birt owned son of Up The Credit who was second in his first start of 2024 after last racing in December of 23.
Doyle currently holds the all-time record for seasonal wins by a trainer at the historic Charlottetown Driving Park with 92, eclipsing Marc Campbell previous best of 87 training wins from his record setting 2017 season. Doyle is now in pursuit of Marc Campbell’s record of 113 wins on P.E.I., from that 2017 season, with the Earnscliffe trainer now at 108 victories between Red Shores Summerside and Charlottetown during this calendar year.
Also in the Sunday afternoon Preferred Pace, the post 2 starter is Brookdale Johnny (To be driven by Paul Langille) for trainer Phil Sizer, with post 3 entry Roll Em (Marc Campbell) from the Brent Campbell outfit, post 4 belonging to High Voltage Deo (Corey MacPherson) for trainer Brendan Curran, last week’s winner Blood Money (Gilles Barrieau) from the Ron Matheson stable with post 5 and Bee Two Bee (Jason Hughes) rounding out the field with post 6 for conditioner Ashley Gamester.
The Post Time Picks go with Bee Two Bee.
“Bee Two Bee reeled off two straight wins prior to that fourth-place finish last week. He’s been racing great from off-the-pace this year and will most likely need to rely on that experience with post six today. If he gets some live cover to follow, he could sting them in the stretch.”
