Harness the Hope PEI

Harness the Hope PEI will take place Saturday,
July 26th at Red Shores Charlottetown. Cash donations are accepted through e-transfer and can be made to: hth.pei@gmail.com

Proceeds from the seventh annual fundraiser will directly assist Islanders by contributing to the local support programs and services of the Canadian Cancer Society, as well as the oncology departments of the Prince County and Queen Elizabeth hospitals, Hospice PEI, and Just Live Events Inc. – Hope Happens Here Camp.

A dedicated committee of volunteers have once again come together to organize the PEI event to raise awareness and funds that stay on Prince Edward Island. Harness the Hope began in 2005, with the Dustin family in London, Ontario at Western Fair Raceway, and expanded to the east coast in 2019.

Fundraising initiatives include:

  • An Online Auction with many items donated by local businesses across PEI
  • A Stallion Auction, including some of our most popular Stallions. You can use your credit for the next breeding season, or it can be used to pay your 2026 stud fee for a mare already in foal to one of these stallions.

Harness the Hope merchandise will be available to purchase during the event on July 26th at Red Shores Charlottetown.

Be sure to join us before th races for the fan favourite Pony Races, driven by some of our youngest female drivers as they show off their skills!

Hope in Every Dollar

Every donation, big or small, plays a vital role in supporting Islanders living with cancer. From helping fund essential programs and services to offering comfort and care during treatment, your generosity directly impacts real lives right here in our community.

Queen Elizabeth & Prince County Oncology Departments – Harness the Hope continues to support both Oncology Department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the Prince County Hospital. The amazing staff at both these facilities focus on specialized care and well-being for islanders with cancer.

Hospice PEI –  a community of caring volunteers making each day count for Islanders and their families facing cancer and other health issues. They do this through hospice support, education, and care programs.

Hope Happens Here Camp – Hope Happens Here is a Prince Edward Island-based wellness retreat created to support women who have experienced cancer. Since launching in 2024, this unique two and a half day event has been offered at no cost and brings together women from across the province to rest, reconnect, and rebuild. With a focus on emotional, mental, and physical well-being. We offer not just healing, but a powerful reminder that life after cancer can be full of strength, connection, and hope.
